Hi!

After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Creative Media Production and a minor in Film and Media Studies, I went to work as a Graduate Fellow with Saxum, an integrated digital agency in Oklahoma City. I was an active member of the creative team, working on multiple design, video, and photography projects for a diverse set of clients. 

My time at Saxum allowed me to hone my skills and gain valuable experience, which led me to my first full-time position as Graphic Designer & Video Editor for the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department (OTRD). Throughout my time with OTRD, I created a wide range of print and digital design projects, including web pages, logos, t-shirt designs, infographics, social graphics, display ads, print ads, and more. I also created motion graphics for the department’s broadcast television show, Discover Oklahoma, animated multiple 30-second promotional videos for Oklahoma Today Magazine, and edited vertical video for the department’s social platforms. 

I was also fortunate to get real-world experience under my belt during my time at OU. My position as the lead video editor with Gaylord Hall Productions (GHP), a student-run video production company in Gaylord College, was incredible during my time as a student. I was able to work with clients in-state and around the country and play a significant part in creating content that told stories, built businesses, and inspired others. I also had the privilege of working with the Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition (OVAC) as their Media and Programs Assistant while I was a student. I shot and edited promotional videos of artists, created graphics for social media, art exhibitions and annual reports, photographed events, and managed and conducted a “photo studio” program where I would photograph artists’ work for low cost.

​I'm not all bark and no bite! I have earned national and state-level awards for video editing, screenwriting, animation, and more.

​Outside of work, you can find me outdoors hiking or doing nature photography. If it's too cold, I'll be inside drawing in a sketchbook and probably drinking too much coffee.
